A beautiful air-conditioned villa with private swimming pool situated within the peaceful residential development of Las Tres Calas (The Three Coves) on the Costa Dorada. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and has a large garden, built-in brick barbecue, off-road parking and roof terrace with lovely mountain views. This is a wonderful area for family holidays and has some of the most beautiful unspoilt coastline on the Mediterranean, with many small sandy beaches and coves set amongst dramatic cliffs. Costa Caribe Water Park and Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to be the best theme park in Spain, are only 25 minutes away. The local town, L'Ametlla de Mar, is a traditional working fishing town and has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.

Las Tres Calas is a peaceful residential development with three lovely beaches. There are two bars, a restaurant, supermarket and bakery located at the entrance to the estate, approximately 3 minutes drive from the villa. The working fishing town of L’Ametlla de Mar, approximately 4 km away, has a train station and a variety of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The fishing boats return late afternoon and you can sit in one of the many nearby bars and restaurants and watch as they unload their catch. The 16km jagged coastline of L'Ametlla is some of the most beautiful and unspoilt on the Mediterranean. There are many beaches, creeks and coves, some stony and others with fine white sand, surrounded by typically Mediterranean vegetation.

An ironing board, iron and hairdryer are provided and a travel cot, highchair and baby bath can be supplied by prior arrangement. Outside there is a table and chairs for alfresco dining and comfortable sunbeds. The local villa manager speaks French and English. Bed linen and bath towels are provided and changed weekly.

Things to do in the Surrounding Area:: Barcelona, the European city of culture, is only 90 minutes away by road or two hours by train, and is a truly fascinating city to visit. Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to the best theme park in Spain, and the Costa Caribe Water Park, are situated at Salou, a lively tourist resort approximately 25 minutes by car. The historic city of Reus and the ancient city ofTarragona, with its ancient Roman buildings and amphitheatre, are 30 minutes drive away. Towards the South is the Ebro Delta Natural Park, famous for its pink flamingo's and monstrous catfish. This is a haven for fishermen and fishing is permitted along the public areas of the River Ebro, although a fishing licence must be purchased from the local village town hall. There are some wonderful drives along the River Ebro as it meanders inland amidst some stunning scenery. A comprehensive manual is provided at the villa giving details of places to visit in the local area, local restaurants and facilities.

Travel Details: Both Reus and Barcelona Airports are convenient for the villa, both of which are well served by the low cost airlines. Ryan Air fly into Reus, whilst Easy Jet have a frequent service to Barcelona. Reus (39km) is only a 30 minute drive from the villa, while Barcelona is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Car hire from both airports is easily obtainable online.
