This beautiful air conditioned villa, built in 2003, is situated within Las Tres Cales (the three coves), a peaceful residential development set against a backdrop of spectacular mountain views and close to beautiful beaches and coves. The garden is very secluded, with a mature hedge surrounding the private swimming pool and a spacious patio area for sunbathing. There is a further patio area to the rear of the property with a built-in barbecue and a large roof terrace accessed via a spiral staircase. There is a garage and off-road parking for two vehicles. The villa is equipped to a very high standard, the master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and there is a double bedroom and twin bedded room.

Las Tres Calas is a quiet residential area, with several bars, a restaurant, supermarket, bakery and grocers located at the entrance to the estate, a few minutes drive from the villa. The working fishing town of L’Ametlla de Mar is approximately 4km away, where there is a train station and a variety of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants (many specialising in local seafood). The fishing boats return late afternoon and you can sit and relax at one of the nearby bars and restaurants while you watch as they unload their catch. The area is renown for its beautiful coast line, with cliffs, beaches, creeks and coves, surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation. This is a wonderful area for family holidays; Universal Studies Port Aventura and Costa Caribe Water Park are only 25 mintues drive from the villa and there are many other interesting and historical places to visit in the area.

Notes: All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and there is an electronic safe in the master bedroom. A travel cot, high chair and baby bath can all be supplied by prior arrangement. Outside there is a table with six chairs for alfresco dining, together with four sunbeds and two reclining chairs. There is a good selection of English books and games for both children and adults at the villa. The local villa manager speaks French, English and some Spanish. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.

Travel Details: Both Reus and Barcelona airports are convenient for the villa, both of which are well served by the low cost airlines. Ryan Air fly into Reus, a 25 minute drive away, while Easy Jet have a frequent service to Barcelona, approximately 1 hour 25 minutes away. Car hire from both airports is easily available online.

Nearby Places of Interest: Barcelona, the European city of culture, is only 1.5 hours away by road or two hours by train, and is a truly fascinating city to visit. Universal Studios Port Aventura, considered to be the best theme park in Spain, and the Costa Caribbe Water Park are situated at Salou, a lively tourist resort approximately 25 minutes by car. The historic city of Reus and the ancient city of Tarragona with its Roman buildings and amphitheatre are 30 minutes drive away. Towards the South is the Ebro Delta Natural Park, famous for its pink flamingo’s and monstrous catfish. This is a haven for fishermen and fishing is permitted along the public areas of the River Ebro, although a fishing licence must be purchased from the local village town hall. For golfers, the Golf Club de Bonmont, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Catalonia, is at Mont-Roig del Camp, Tarragona.

'We had a wonderful holiday in your lovely villa. We think the setting of the villa is just ideal, close to essential amenities but also in a quiet residential area. The beaches nearby are beautiful and the setting against the mountains is stunning. You have equipped the villa to a high standard including all the essential elements for a relaxing holiday.' We had a excellent holiday here. The villa was very clean and well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV, and sun loungers a welcome bonus. Portaventura/Salou was only 20mins away by car. There are some very nice beaches along the coast road some only for 5 minutes drive from the villa. Communication with owner was very good, with keys and information pack being delivered to our home address in the UK prior to the visit. We were very sad to leave.

Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday

What a really lovely villa! Spacious, clean, very well equiped. The pool was lovely with enough sun-loungers/chairs etc. The communication with the owner could not have been better - so well organised. Only disappointment was that we had to come home!
