This well apointed villa with full airconditioning is set in 5 acres of fenced off Privae lmond and olive groves, it is a 5 minute drive from the pretty fishing village of L'Ampolla. This villa is NOT set on an urbanisation or housing estate, it NOT overlooked by many carbon copy villas. It is NOT a location for lovers of noise, neighbours, nightclubs, roads, cars etc. However, it is only a five minute drive from the very traditional fishing village of L'Ampolla, it has several nice bars and restaurants along the harbour front.

The property is situated approximately 140km south of Barcelona, the European city of culture, a truly amazing city to visit, and 40min south of the holiday resort of Salou, with its theme parks, aqua parks, bungee jumps and goes kart tracks, or take a parasailing ride from the beach. Also nearby is the historic city of Tarragona with its ancient roman buildings and amphitheatre A few km south is the Ebro Delta natural park with its rice fields and even pink flamingos! Or follow the famous fish filled River Ebro as it meanders inland thru stunning mountain ranges and rich vineyards and orange groves.

Just come back from a 10 day stay in this villa with 8 other family members and Im totally relaxed and chilled. It very private, very well appointed and maintained to a high standard. You would defiantly need the use of a car, but its not far to the village. Barcelona and PortAventura are within easy distance (which I would recommend) Its very well described and I am booking again for next year as soon as I can. 10/10 If only I could have stayed!!

i stayed in this villa in september 2007. i stayed in mid september when the weather was cooling slightly 30c at start and 25c by near end of september. the villa is set about a km from l'ampolla. it is up a dusty road set back down its own drive, fully fenced in all 5 acres and as private as you can possibly ask for.

i want to buy this villa!!!

you absolutely need a car.

i took my three dogs with me and had absolutely no problems. the vet was just about £15 i think for each dog and very helpful. the villa is perfect as there are 6/7 foot fences all round and a big gate at the end of the drive.

is a lovely part traditional village which has grown recently though there are still very few brits there. there is one english bar near the station. there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the small town/village and plenty of places within an hour.
tortosa - a romanic town inland with great buildings, some good shops and bridges over the ebro.
salou - if you fancy seeing a british aimed resort, plenty for kids with great beaches, go-karting amusements etc as well as barcelona and valencia just an hour away.

Anstatt des beworbenen Objekts wurde uns ein gleichwertiges Objekt angeboten. Das Haus war schön, leider war die Nutzung des Pools wegen schlechtem Wasser nicht möglich. Die Vermieter haben sich bemüht das Wasser zu reinigen, leider hat es erst zwei Tage vor unserer Abreise geklappt.
Die Vermieter haben auf unsere Forderung den Preis zu mindern nicht reagiert.

Zu diesem Objekt kann ich nicht viel sagen, lediglich das es nur für 8 Pers.
gedacht ist.
Obwohl wir bereits vor einem 1/2 Jahr gebucht hatten, war das Haus, trotz mehrmaligem Nachfragen von uns und genausovielen Zusagen der Verwalter, doppelt belegt. Wir wurden dann in einem anderen Haus untergebracht (das auch von Frau E. verwaltet wird), was aber von der Sauberkeit her in einem schlechten Zustand war. Nach Verhandlungen über den Mietpreis und einer Grundreinigung von uns, war es dann akzeptabel.
Alles nur dumm gelaufen oder doch Absicht ???
