Enjoy a relaxing summer holiday rental in our lovely detached Villa with private pool ( 5m x 10m) and delightful garden with orange, lemon and apricot trees. Set in a quiet location there is a sports club with a bar, tennis courts and small shops and an inexpensive excellent local restaurant nearby. Only a 5 minute drive to the delightful typically Spanish town of Torredembarra with a wide clean sandy beach, long promenade and pretty Marina with several restaurants. Our villa is convenient for visiting Barcelona or Tarragona or Universal Studios Port Aventura, perfect for a relaxing villa holiday in real Spain away from the crowds.

Our lovely villa is only 3 miles or a five minute drive from the seaside with a beautiful sandy beach, promenade and Marina. This undiscovered part of Spain in the Costa Dorada has many small coves and quiet sandy beaches and beautiful countryside. There are many lovely walks along the coastline. Located only 20 minutes drive from Reus (Salou) Airport. Torredembarra is a typically Spanish town. Close by is the historic town of Tarragona. Stumble upon the many local festivals throughout the summer. Visit the nearby Universal Studio Theme Park of PortAventura or a Water Park. The Costa Dorada Golf Club is a 15 minutes drive. The villa is also convenient for Barcelona either by car or train.

Notes: Relax on sun loungers in our paved garden, which is full or Orange, Mandarin, Apricot, Olive and Lemon trees to enjoy. Perfect for lounging by the pool, BBQ or al fresco dining. A few minutes walk from the villa is local sports club with a terrace bar serving food, with tennis courts, squash, ten pin bowling and crazy golf - some evenings in the summer you may enjoy the village fiesta activities. There is a bakers, small grocers an Internet Cafe and a bar within a few minutes walk.

Flights: Flights to Reus (Salou) Airport are an easy 20 minute drive, fly with Ryan Air. Barcelona Airport is a 50 minute drive. We try to visit the villa regularly, to relax and recharge it really is the perfect place to unwind.

Other Activities: Universal Studios, Port Aventura Theme Park nearby. Water Park with Dolphins, Wildlife and water park, Relaxing.

Thanks for a great holiday,villa was just the place for us all,we had plenty of space.The pool was great especially when it was really hot and when we got home from one of our trips.The barbecue was used quite a lot and we found the brilliant butcher and the baker in the village,so Gerry, Mike and Ted went down each day for the food.
We found some typical Spanish places to visit and the access to all the roads was brilliant.We also found Brasserie Paco's bar just 5 min. up the road,very local but the food was so good we went back often,their Paella was out of this world.
We loved L'ampola,Tarragona,El Vendrel and Sitges the best,but then we like the out of the way places with the local people,but a phrase book is also essential!!
We would certainly go again and go to the places we haven't seen.A car is essential but you can get down to the train station by bus or taxi and go almost anywhere.
The Villa was very clean,plenty of linen and towels.
The Port of Torredembarra is really nice and the restuarants are very nice,Al Capones was good,and the port is very clean and new and got lively at night.
The beaches were also very clean and long,good for children,and not very far away.
Once again thanks Sue and Roger it was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa in July.
The villa was as described, but did need a little tlc around the immediate pool area, and the sun terrace - especially the steps up. Everything needed is provided even down the beach towels which was great. We found the Brasserie Paco, a typical Spanish establishment just up the road to the right of the villa by the roundabout, was an excellent place to eat. Good food and real value for money. No English spoken here, but had fun trying to communicate with the staff.
Thank you Sue and Roger for the use of your facilities, we had a great time and will certainly return in the future. I have already recommended you.

Great holiday, very relaxing and quiet surroundings. Villa had everything we needed. Car essential if you want to vitit nearby resorts and shopping etc.
Recomment the train from Torredembarra to Barcelona. Gets busy but cheap and reliable. We had to go twice, first to get our bearings and next to visit the Gaudi Park (Recommended), cable cars and The Ramblas.
You must visit El Pozo restaurant at nearby Altafulla. The best steak I've ever tasted.
Thanks Sue & Roger for a lovelly time, hope to revisit in 2009.

Nice villa with pool, suitable for family holiday, although a car is essential. Few amenities nearby, although restaurants, bars, beach etc. only 5-10 minutes away.
Everything provided at villa incl. toys for children, books, games etc. Plenty of garden furniture. Nice pool although too deep for small children on their own. Quiet location, clean and tidy villa. I would recommend this villa for a family or for a couple(s) wanting peaceful location. Good access to motorway/main road for touring around.
