This Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation comprising of bedroom ,lounge area, mini bar, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, en-suite shower room, fans and private terrace. also you have the use of two other terraces by the swimming pool which is set in landscaped and natural grounds. Casa Owen has built a reputation over the last ten years for giving personal service to it's guests. Breakfast is served in our conservatory style dining room, full English or continental we will also provide for you should you wish packed lunches at a further cost of eight euros. One entry from our visitors book reads ' Came as strangers and left as friends '

Casa owen is just 5 minutes drive away from L'Ampolla a lovely fishing and marina village with many bars and restaurants and blue flag beaches. Salou and Cambrils of which are the more commercial resorts are about 40 minutes drive away and the wonderful city of Barcelona is 2 hours by train ( an excellent service ) and the tourist buses make it very easy to see many of the sites in just one day. Tarragona is a smaller city and this is about 45 minutes car drive, other places worth a visit are the small city of Tortosa, and many of the inland villages.

Getting here: The nearest airport to the region is Reus which is 45 minutes drive away. Ryanair fly to Reus from Stanstead, Luton. Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin, Bournemouth, Bristol and East Midlands.Barcelona airport is 90 minutes away and most airline carriers fly here i.e British Airways,Easyjet and Iberia. It is usually advantageous to book your car hire at the same time as your airline tickets. The rail system in this part of Spain is second to none and fares are exceptionally reasonable.

Golf: There is an excellent golf course just 25 minutes drive away. Tel: 0034 977818140. We now also have a excellent pitch and putt course just a 5 minute drive away with very nice club house. LATEST GOLF COURSE TO THE AREA : Porta Aventura Golf: Designed by Greg Norman, two 18 hole courses the South course overlooks the seaside holiday resort of Salou and is very picturesque, the north course has many water features and is the flatter of the two but both courses our very challenging. You can pay and play at this golf club and both courses have their own club houses

Lovely accomodation, clean and well maintained. Good size Swimming Pooland lovely grounds to stroll round. Friendly hosts with good knowledge of local area. 10 minutes to local beach and restaurants at Ampolla. Excellent train facilites to Tarragona from Ampolla. Plenty of small towns on the caost and inland for food and drink.Suites couple looking to explore the countryside. A car is definetley needed. Only disadvantage is that the noise from the N340 can be distracting at night when you want the windows open. But not enought to put us off going again.
