Relaxing & welcoming, Guejar Sierra is a true mountain village set amidst stunning scenery. It has a quaint mountain atmosphere where you make your way through the labyrinth of tiny streets, passages, arches & tunnels that make up the village in typically Andalusian style. A traditional Spanish house perfectly placed in the heart of the village. It has a modern fitted kitchen with wood burning stove & a lounge area where you can relax. The roof terrace has stunning views across the village, the Sierra Nevada Mountains & National Park, it provides an ideal place to chill/laze, dine al fresco or sunbathe. On the ground floor there is a wall seat where you can sit & watch village life go by. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay a memorable one. Ideally located for cycling, walking, 30 min from Granada, Skiing & snowboarding 20 minutes drive from the village at the Sol y Nieve resort which has the longest season in Europe from December to May.

Güéjar Sierra is located in the Sierra Nevada Natural Park, half way on the slope of the Cerro del Calar, at the base of which the waters of the Genil river flow. It is a mountain town with crystal-clear water streams, famous for local traditional cuisine, eating here is an authentic pleasure for lovers of traditional cuisine. Perfect for those who enjoy proper rural tourism, this town is the departure point for many walks/cycle/trekking/horse riding routes catering for all abilities taking in the stunning surrounding mountain scenery which ascend right into to Sierra Nevada peaks. It is surrounded by places of great ecological beauty & is home to a diverse variety of wildlife. Some of the other facilities in the area include the Aquola Waterpark, Golf, Lecrin Valley, Alpujaras just 20 minutes drive away, the beach is less than an hours drive and if you wish to explore Ronda, Seville and Cordoba can easily be reached by car.
