Zermatt is an attractive village in Oberwallis and is the best place to see the Matterhorn as well as featuring an Alpine Museum. From Brig railway station passengers can take a ride to Northern Italy, passing through the world’s longest rail tunnel on the way. A couple of hours away is the wonderful city of Geneva, which has museums, magnificent architecture and of course Lake Geneva.
