It's location is ideal for a great skiing experience, being virtually ski-in ski-out from blue/black runs. A large south/west facing garden in a serene setting with stunning views makes it perfect for alpine holidays throughout the year. Villars is a traditional Swiss Alpine resort, with year-round activities. The unspoilt village is located high in the tranquil Alpes Vaudoise and is renowned for it's south facing situation & long sunny days and views of Mont Blanc Massif/Dent de Midi. There are no concrete high rises, bleak purpose-built resort accommodation, instead, just authentic chalets eclectically arranged on the hillsides, and friendly affordable restaurants with a warm, mountain-style welcome. The resort prides itself on being family friendly and couples and groups are well catered for with plenty of restaurants and cafes, bars and a nightclub. In the summer the stunning mountain scenery offers a wealth of activities. In the winter over 200km of piste cater for skiers of all abilities, and the area has plenty of activities for the non-skier too. Altitudes of 1400-3200m ensure good snow. The resort is ideally located for day trips to Verbier, Chamonix, Gstaad, Portes de Soleil and the Lake Geneva region

Notes: Getting there: The resort is easily accessible from UK being 1hr15mins drive from Geneva, 1hr from Sion, 2hr30 from Zurich and 3hr from Turin. Easy Jet fly to Geneva and Zurich from several UK airports & Ryan Air fly to Turin. It is possible to take a train from Geneva or Zurich all the way to the resort . It takes about 8-9hours to drive from Calais. The apartment is situated in a peaceful residential area on a hillside overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains including Mont Blanc. It is approximately 200m from the ski slopes and 1.5km from the village centre (local baker/shop 0.9km). A car is an advantage but not essential.

The apartment is lovely, very comfortable and equipped with all accessories.
The bedroom is very comfortable. The sofa is good for little childrens. We would highly recommend it.

We engoyed it very much, and we hope to be there again in the future.

A top end apartment with all of the up to date accessories. In a nice comunity just off of a sking run, and near the lift station. It is closs to the main town shopping and restaurants, and about a mile to the train station..

Fantastic week

The apartment is in a great location and has beautiful views. You can access the slopes with ease without the use of a car and return to the apartment at the end of the day (snow permitting). We had fantastic weather during our stay and had 8 inch snowfall mid week. We walked into town that evening and it took about 20 minutes to get there. It took 30 minutes to get back due to the incline and snow.

We were pleasently surprised by the apartment itself. It was of a high standard, very well equipped, tastefully furnished and modern. The owner has put a lot of thought into making your stay as comfortable and effortless as possible. The owner was extremely helpful from start to finish and was very prompt in returning our breakage deposit.

This apartment is excellent value for money and we would highly recommend it. We will be returning some time soon!
