^*Please Note: The owner of this property accepts payment in the original currency specified, before use of conversion tool. The conversion tool is provided for your convenience only. The owner may accept other currencies if specifically agreed in advance.

Notes to the rental rates

• RATES: Unlike some other rental properties, rental rate is inc.of all bed linen, bathroom towels, tea towels, electricity, heating, pre/post stay cleaning & laundry (additional mid-stay cleaning can be arranged if required), local agent liaison, key handover & collection, firewood.
  Rental rate excludes: local Tourist Tax (payable at local Tourist Office - details can be supplied).
  PAYMENT DETAILS: If the chalet is available, a reservation can be placed on it for 48 hrs whilst travel arrangements are finalised. To confirm a booking, if more than 8 weeks prior to arrival date a deposit of 30% is required, with balance + damage deposit due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival date 100% payment is required + damage deposit. Payment can be made in either Swiss Francs or British Pounds. All other currencies will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate on the day of payment. NB Any bank charges / transfer / exchange fees are payable by the guests.
  
• DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
  The chalet is furnished and equipped to a very high level, therefore a refundable damage deposit of GBP 500 / CHF 1125 approx (or equivalent international currency) is payable at time of balance due. This is refunded within 7 days of departure following a full inspection of the chalet and with any extras deducted. Please note: any refunds payable to a non-UK or Swiss bank account may incur bank charges which will be payable by the guest.
  CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
  Check-in time is usually from 4pm on the day of arrival and departure time is no later than 10am on departure day.
  We can often be flexible on these times depending on the bookings we have at the time.
  However, this is only be prior arrangement.
  CATERING
  The Chalet is self-catering.

A wonderful home for our 2 week summer holiday. Lots of walks, bike rides, tennis ... so much to do and see. We would love to come back. The Bannenberg Family, London --- It was great to return to Villars and Barboleuse after all these years. We could do several walks which I remember doing with my brother in my childhood and which I could now share with my own children. We enjoyed showing them the beautiful views and mountains of this region. All our memories came back ... It was just too short !! The weather was great and the chalet was even more than we could dream of. We really hope to come back, maybe in the snow ... Skiing Information:

The chalet is located just 100m / 5 min from the ski piste with a very pleasant Blue run down to main Barboleuse telecabine with access to the entire Villars and Les Diablerets ski region. Ideal for skiing back at the end of the day. The two linked areas of Villars Gryon & Barboleuse have 220km of marked ski runs, including the Les Diablerets Glacier, with altitude ranging from 1200m – 3000m. The pistes are split: 30% beginner, 60% intermediate 10% advanced, with wide, well-groomed, varied pistes with some of the most spectacular scenery you will ever see. Enthusiasts wanting to be challenged can try the glacier at Les Diablerets which also has some excellent off-piste skiing. Snowboarders can enjoy the magnificent snowpark on the Chaux-Ronde trail. In all there are four glaciers in the area available for heliskiing for the more adventurous. There are 10 other world-renowned ski resorts within 1 hr of the chalet. ** CHILDREN AGED 9 AND BELOW SKI FOR FREE IN VILLARS **

Golf Information:

Villars is blessed with a world-class 18-hole golf course located in an amazing and spectacular mountain location at 5300 ft (1600 m). The golf course and its superb restaurant are perched on a south-facing plateau where you can play a round, enjoy drinks or a meal amid some of the most stunning views of the Alps and Mont-Blanc. For those wishing to learn how to play, individual lessons or week-long group programmes for all levels can be arranged with PGA certified professionals in this most relaxed, unique and beautiful setting. The Club is open from mid-May to October and can be accessed by the funicular railway from Villars station or by road.
