The Resort: Verbier is one of the finest resorts in the world offering winter skiing and summer hiking, climbing, paragliding and numerous other mountain activities. The town itself has fine restaurants and a huge range of bars and clubs. Other facilities include a large sports centre including swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), fitness centre, squash and tennis courts, horse riding, an 18 hole golf course, ice rink, paragliding and a cinema for those white-out days. In summer there is an annual two week music festival and the climate is ideal for hiking and climbing holidays. Verbier is approximately one and a half hours from Geneva airport by autoroute.

The Apartment: Residence Les Asters is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Verbier, just across the road from the Farm Club (for those who know Verbier!). High quality shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs are all within minutes walk. The apartment benefits from a south facing balcony and has stunning views of the Val de Bagnes below.

Ski: Verbier boasts over 150km of groomed pistes as well as a huge amount of off piste skiing. It has 38 lifts and cable cars, with the top station at Mont Fort being 3,330 metres. It also has a purpose built snowboard park.

Many thanks to Rupert for a fabulous weeks holiday at Asters.
Great location, well furnished and appointed with cupboards full of everything you could possibly need for a self catered holiday.
We loved our afternoons on the balcony, watching the sunset and will definately be rebooking for 2010.
