Chalet Roossi is a very well equipped apartment, with upscale kitchen facilities, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and living room with spectacular views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. You will find all the comforts of home, including wide screen plasma TV, broad band Internet connection and comfy duvets with high quality linen. It is located just 7 minutes walk from Wengen town centre. The Jungfrau region is world renowned as a fabulous ski resort in winter and also extraordinary hiking trails in summer. Truly a resort for both young and old. Roossi is situated in peaceful surroundings, where you can enjoy the sunny terrace with spectacular views, without interruption.

Wengen is a quaint mountain village, elevation 1274 metres, located on a sunny terrace, high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. Wild flowers abound, spectacular views in all directions. The Jungfrau Region offers superb hiking trails, from a leisurely stroll to a challenging mountain expedition. Mountain bike rental is also available in Wengen. Recharge your battery in relaxing and peaceful Wengen. In the winter season fabulous skiing can be found for all levels of skier. One of the highlights of winter is the International Lauberhorn Race, a World Cup downhill race which is renowned for it's difficulty. A family friendly winter and summer resort, which has something for everyone.

Skiing is the main winter activity of Wengen. The ski pistes vary in difficulty, making it an excellent family resort. The hiking in summer is also superb. And just when you think you are getting tired, there is a quaint mountain restaurant around the corner.

This apartment is pure luxury from start to finish. It is equiped with everything you could ever want during your stay. It feels like a home with beautiful pictures, and more utensils that you could ever use!

The bedrooms are a bit tight on space but the rest of the apartment more than compensates.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in the summer and it has an amazing sun terrace where the afternoon sun bathed you in pure delight. The views are hard to descibe as they are uninteruped across the Lauterbrunnen valley to the Gruscalp cable car on the other side. It is a pure haven of delight.

It is a downhill walk of about 5 mins from the centre/train station of Wengen so is a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Wengen may be a skiers dream but it is also amazing in the summer, there are more walks than you can ever do and lots of sporting activities going offf from marathons and bike time trails, not to mention all the paragliding and biking everywhere.

I would thoroughly recommend this apartment, I am sure it would be just as good in the winter as the owners had ski rooms and other facilities for you.
