La Taupinere is a very comfortable and well equipped private, individual house. It has a large balcony facing south to wonderful views and its own garden, large sauna and indoor 30ft heated swimming pool with doors opening onto patio for summer use. The chalet is in a superb and beautiful location for all mountain activities including skiing, mountain biking, walking, golf, paragliding, tennis or just for relaxing.

Gruyeres is a delightful area to spend time, whether active or relaxing. The area is renowned for its beauty and there is plenty to see and do, both summer and winter. Moleson village has a food store, restaurant, cafe, artists' gallery and pizzeria surrounding a pleasant square. The village is popular for skiing, has a friendly tourist office, a ski school, a night club and so forth. Price includes use of the chalet for up to 11 adults and a baby, and all the linen and electricity.

What a pleasure it was to stay in this marvellous home in such an idyllic location. Liz, the owner, was friendly and informative, and has done a great job making the chalet really very charming.

Swimming in the pool looking out on the mountains, after a sauna, and then outside for a BBQ simply can not be beat!

A week at Moleson

Having paid hefty price tags for Alpine holidays in the past, my stay at La Taupiniere has proved to be a revelation. A superb , clean and welcoming Chalet that retains the traditional charms of the Alps yet with modern and up to date facilities. To be able to come home after a hard days skiing to a sauna and a swim is just the perfect way to round off the day. Ski hire and skiing was available on one's doorstep, and catered for all levels of proficiency, yet easily accessible by car were some of Switzerland's premier ski resorts. The town of Bulle is only fifteen minutes by car and provides the full range of facilities, bars, restaurants, banking, and sight seeing. Even closer is the beautiful medieval town of Gruyeres with its stunning architecture and fondue restaurants. I will happily be recommending La Taupiniere to friends and clients alike, and look forward to my next visit.

What a wonderful 5 days!!! The Chalet is beautiful and a great asset to be able to come home from a long day's skiing and have a sauna and then swim in the morning to stretch off weary muscles.

The position of the Chalet has easy access to some of the best ski resorts in the world coupled with the most delightful local town of Gruyeres makes it a perfect holiday location.

I will defiantly come back and certainly would recommend it to friends and family.

What a lovely holiday

A lovely house in a village setting. We really enjoyed the views from the balcony and the large open plan living area with big comfy sofas around the fire.

The house was immaculately clean and well maintained. This chalet is ideal for couples or families, with the separate studio ideal for children.

We really enjoyed skiing in the numerous ski villages and resorts nearby. A visit to Gruyeres is a must and fondu at Le Chalet there is the best in the world. And the chocolate factory is pretty special too. An ideal place if you like dairy products!!!
