Huge, fully furnished, townhouses 150 metres from beautiful Khao Takiab beach, approx. 5km from the centre of Hua Hin. No need for a car, just stroll down to the beach everyday. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the master bedroom leads out to a large terrace overlooking gardens with pool, chairs, tables & loungers. Birds abound in the tropical foliage surrounding the house. All bedrooms include air-con and beautiful furniture. The open-plan sitting and dining room on the ground floor includes TV, DVD and Hi-Fi equipment and internet connection. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and an adjoining laundry room includes a washing machine and iron. These houses are tropical homes away from home. If you require anything special such as daily cleaning and laundry services, help with cooking or baby-sitting services, we can help. We can also help with car transfers to and from Bangkok. Just let us know what you need.

As already described, these houses provide all that you need for a great family holiday. You can also relax in the small ground floor private courtyard or make use of the gardens situated directly opposite. The pool and gardens are for the sole use of a few houses. We also have a coffee shop at one end of the garden which sells breakfast and snacks throughout the day - perfect if you can't be bothered making breakfast. We have tried to make the house as comfortable as possible with all that you need, however, should you need an extra pan or another blanket, my Thai Manager is on hand to help.

  • All bathrooms are decorated with quality fittings. The 2 master bathrooms are huge and big enough for the whole family to shower. The bathroom on the first floor is shared between 2 bedrooms. There is a bathroom on the ground floor in the dining room in addition to a shower in the garden. Towels in the bathrooms and linen in the bedrooms are of the best quality and the atmosphere of the bathrooms as with the rest of the house is stylish, comfortable and luxurious.

  • Top master bedroom - this room is very large with plenty of room to include a fold-away or cot bed (provided on request) if you are traveling with small children. The bed is huge and so comfortable even if the kids crawl in at night. 2nd master room - this room is equally as large as the master but has a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the garden. You can eat breakfast listening to the birds with a view of the temple nearby. Double room - In one house, this room adjoins to the single room with a bi-folding wooden door so that you can arrange the rooms as two separate sleeping areas or one large room for 3 or more children. Outside this room is another large terrace facing the back of the house which overlooks a large swimming pool. Single room - This adjoins to the double room as mentioned above. All bedrooms have beautiful Thai style carved wooden beds, large solid wardrobes and altar tables or cupboards. They are all fully air-conditioned and very comfortable

Notes: We have more than one houses from which to choose. Please email for availability, As most of our tenants are families with children, we have built up a very child-friendly environment to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to help you leave some of that bulky baggage at home. We have a large cot and highchair for any little ones and a fold-out bed if kids want to sleep in mum and dad's room. Additionally, we can provide a bottle sterilizer and walker. Bigger kids can find a selection of movies in the drawer under the TV cabinet. There is also a large selection of games and a small selection of books and music Cd's. If you have a teenager, you may ask our Housekeeper to help you hire a small moped for use around the village, safely away from main roads. This is certainly one of the highlights of our son's holiday in Thailand. Please feel free to ask for anything that we may have forgotten, and wherever possible we will accommodate

Beach activities: One minute stroll from the house is Khao Takiab beach which is wonderful for swimming, playing and walking. There is horse riding, water sports and massage/manicure services available on the beach. Or if you just want to relax, you can sit at one of the beach cafes for some fresh fish or use the deckchairs provided by various cafes. At one end of the beach is Monkey Mountain which you can climb to find local monkeys. At the other end is Khao Tao a lovely little fishing village. If you like walking early in the morning, going from the house to Khao Tao is wonderful as the beach is wide and expansive with little development the further you walk. You certainly cannot get this experience on Hua Hin beach which is quite narrow and tends to get very busy in the peak season.

Elephant riding and other nearby activities: Shopping for groceries is very easy as there is a small shop at the corner of the entry road to our street. For bigger shops you can find a huge Tesco in the Shopping Mall located half way between Khao Takiab and Hua Hin town (4km). Of course you can also explore Khao Takiab village which includes ATM machines, local shops, 7-eleven, etc. Very close to the house you can find elephant riding and quad-bike riding for those adventurous enough to ride around the dirt tracks. For golf enthusiasts, you can find a range of golf courses nearby. What better way to enjoy your golfing holiday than staying by the beach and heading to the courses when you want to play. My Thai Manager is on hand to help with anything you need. Most house rentals leave you to figure it all out by yourself. We believe in helping you to have the best possible holiday.

Short rides from Hua Hin : Within easy reach of Hua Hin you can visit a number of attractions such as Pala-U Waterfall, National Parks, Koh Talu Island for snorkelling and the pineapple plantations of Pranburi + lots more. We provide a full range of booklets and maps at the house for your perusal.

The villa is great and the information is accurate. However our 3 night stay was marred by a couple of issues which we felt were not dealt with satisfactorily by the manager or the owner. The villa was not clean and there were plumbing problems which we reported after our first night. The manager insisted the villa had been cleaned properly therefore infering we were wrong to complain - perhaps the villa had been cleaned after the prevous occupants some time ago, but every surface was definitely coated in thick black dust! We were also criticised for not raising the issues sooner, so our advice to future visitors is to immediately check things work like the plumbing eg shower head blocked, shower drains blocked, leaking toilet pipe, leaking kitchen sink and a sink tap which was not fixed to the sink!!! Everything got sorted by the end of the second day and we managed to negotiate a small discount with the owner. However this did not reflect the inconvenience of having to make several calls to the manager and then emails to the owner to persuade them that the issues really were a problem and the customer was right to raise them...
Owner's Response: Our villas are cleaned regularly when not being used and the day before a customer arrives by our full time cleaning staff. Our Manager checks the house thoroughly after the cleaning and she also meets and greets our guests to show them around. We have not had any previous complaints about cleanliness (in 5 years) and as can be seen from our feedback, many satisfied customers with a large number of repeat customers in recent years.

Taps, showers, toilets, etc. are all used and checked by the cleaners before a customer arrival. If something happens during your stay, our staff will address it immediately. In the case mentioned, my staff went to the house on several occasions, initially to collect payment, and was told to come back later or the next day.

As the owner of one house, I stay with my family and children regularly and can therefore guarantee that these houses are fabulous holiday homes and great value for money.

The house was large, spacious, and clean. The property is close to the beach but not so close to the city center. This property is a good choice for travelers that are staying in the Hua Hin area for a few days. Dha is great!

We stayed as a family of four at Khao Takiab villas in July o8. We were so
impressed by the villa. We had all we needed and more. The spaciousness of the
villa was really fantastic too and it's location so close to the beach
really made it for us. Babysitting, car hire, taxi service can all be arranged
at the complex. There are some lovely restaurants on your doorstep and Hua Hin
as a holiday destination was full of fun packed things to do. We certainly will
go back and stay.

What an awesome place!

This was my first visit to Hua Hin. My friends and I wanted to check out the area and spend a few days relaxing. The house was amazing-really spacious, clean and tastefully done. It would sleep 8 easily and I can't wait to go back there with more friends! The locals that run the restaurants at the beach are lovely; really friendly and genuine. We loved watching the sun set with a few beers every night. We then got a taxi into the town which took about 10 minutes. The town was brilliant too-full of restaurants and bars, even karaoke.
A holiday there would cater for everyones taste-horse riders, golfers, photographers who want some awesome scenery, people that want to completely chill out and those who want to party!
Khao Takiab beach has none of the pretence that some beaches in Thailand now have. It's special atmosphere draws people back year after year which is why I plan to go back soon!

Had a fantastic family holiday - loads to do with the kids, beautiful location, and the beach was lovely. Some great restaurants within easy reach.
The house was huge, spotlessly clean, really comfortable, with everything you could need, a real home from home - all round highly recommended!
