Located in the prestigious and attractive north eastern part of Samui, this stylish luxury villa offers an ambient blend of Thai culture and natural materials. The villa features two detached buildings: one single storey living area with an open plan kitchen and an indoor dining area and lounge. The master bedrooms are located in the 2nd building, each with its own outdoor bathtub as well as indoor shower/bathroom. The villa has a private pool and sala for popular alfresco dining. A short leisurely stroll will lead you to your own private spot of sand and sea with the nearest long stretch of quiet beach only 150 meters away. Included: 32'' LCD TV, phone, broadband internet, indoor/outdoor sound system; airport pick up/ drop off, welcome food basket, Guest Relations Manager and 24 hr security provided within a closed community.

We really enjoyed our stay at Plumeria Place, what we liked:
about Plumeria:
- the villa, nice design, respecting tradition but modern execution, simple and beautiful, very clean
- the garden and the space in general around the house, i.e the surrounding of the other villas and gardens are not disturbing at all
- the quiteness of the area
- the friendliness of the housekeepers, gardeners, etc
Remark: renting a car is a must.
About Koh Samui:
- Bangkok Airways which is a very good surprising Airline with excellent service although low cost !!
- the friendlyness of the peolpe, the overall serenity,
- the modern shopping facilities, although I recommend the small local markets for buying the fruit and vegetables
- Ocean 11 restaurant in Ban Rak is to be recommended

What we disliked:
- the many dirty places on the island, badly organised garbage collection, dirty beaches and bad roads, although we finally got used to it !
- too many real estate projects which sometimes destroy the natural landscapes
