This stunning apartment is set in a spectacular setting with glorious sea views in front of you from the terrace & stunning mountain views with remarkable sunsets behind you. The apartment is covered in bourganvillia & pomegrante & lemon trees etc abound in the gardens. You access the spacious terrace from the lounge via French doors and here you will find attractive & comfortable outdoor furniture. You can sit here on a balmy evening and enjoy the magnificent vista which changes from morning with the sparkling blue sea to night with the moon lighting up the bay and it appears that you can almost walk on the water. The views really do have to be seen to be believed. The apartment itself is very comfortable and stylish with a top of the range sofa bed in the lounge which discreetly and easily opens up to an excellent comfortable double bed. The master bedroom has a double bed and built in wardrobes with sea views & the second bedroom has twin beds with views to the mountains.

Gundogan is an unspoilt very beautiful village situated on the Bodrum peninsula 18 Kms from Bodrum City Centre. The apartment is situated on a gentle hill overlooking the village and bay and these are a 5-minute walk away, with a few shops, bars and restaurants along the way. Then along the lenght of the promenade at the seafront there are many inexpensive and excellent restaurants. In the village there is 1 bank and 1 large supermarket as well as many smaller shops and a weekly market. There are buses from here to the villages on the Bodrum peninsula and Bodrum. Round the corner in the next bay is the famous resort of Turkbuku where you will find designer shops, sophisticated up market restaurants and paparazzi lurking with cameras to snap the celebrities who holiday here. The village of Yalkavak is close by and here you will find a lovely marina with many boats moored. There are pretty restaurants lining the quayside and it is wonderful to sit and watch the sunset from here.

Notes:

Dual purpose air conditioning / heating is provided in both bedrooms and the lounge, so that you are cool in the winter and warm in the summer. The pool is 100 m2 and is used by just 4 apartment blocks (total 8 apartments) so there is plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is fully fitted and contemporary with a built in oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is marble flooring throughout the apartment and terrace. The balcony pergola has had a cover woven into it so that the terrace does have some shade. Please note that the photos were taken before the cover was added.

Getting to Bodrum

This year, 2008/2009, charter flights are available all year round to Bodrum from Manchester and London from as little as £45 one way.

Car hire and taxis

Car Hire can be arranged at very reasonable and preferential rates and the best car hire prices are guaranteed on the Bodrum penindula. Taxis from the airport at special rates can also be arranged. Owner representative available each day for questions, queries and general advice. The amounts quoted apply for full week bookings and may differ for shorter or longer durations. Rates available on request. Change over day is flexible. 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation. Balance due at least 8 weeks before departure.Please enquire.
