The Oliven apartments enjoy a perfect setting with beautiful views down to the harbour, beach and town. The 6 apartments share a pool and a large roof terrace with beautiful views. Our apartment has its own private, enclosed garden with table and chairs. The spacious, open-plan apartment offers a large sitting room with two settees and with patio doors, which open directly on to the pool area. The kitchen is large with washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, iron and ironing board, cooker and hob, kettle and microwave. and has been updated last year. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and opens directly into the pretty garden. The second bedroom has twin beds. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms. There is a luxury wet room bathroom with travertine tiling and walk in shower. The apartment sleeps six, as the settees in the sitting room are both convertible into beds. Maid service is included weekly.

Kalkan is a delightful harbour town, nestling in the foothills of the Toros mountains. Wander from the apartment down the cobbled streets and enjoy the colourful local shops, with carpet bazaars, gold and silver jewellery and ceramics etc. The restaurants from the harbour side to those on the roof terraces are all excellent and you will have difficulty in choosing a favourite. For those who love the sea and the sun Kalkan is a dream come true. There is an attractive pebble beach in the town and boat trips can be arranged every day to the islands in the bay. There are also beach clubs around the town - these are rock gardens cut into the hillside, and offer sunbathing, water sports and swimming combined with beautiful views and restaurant facilities. For a change Patara Beach is only a short dolmus ride away and has been featured as one of the best Mediterranean beaches by the Sunday Times. The area around Kalkan is rich in history and you can visit many ancient sites.

Whilst suitable for elderly and infirm the climb from the town to the apartment was very steep.
Yes it was clean and tidy and we had good customer service, however, with a safe that was out of action was inconvenient and three days during the two week stay with no water became a difficult situation. (other properties do have reserve tanks).
Yes we would recommend it with the proviso of the above items being understood.
Restaurants in town superb, people friendly, and an extremely pretty location.
Shame there was no TV. Overall enjoyed holiday.
