A 2 bedroom apartment with spectacular sea views

Deniz is a new 2 bedroomed ground floor apartment, in a complex of 8 apartments. It is located on the hillside above Kalkan town with spectacular sea views of Kalkan Bay and the surrounding countryside, and is just a 10 minute walk to the town centre / beach. The apartment is furnished to a high standard with marble floors throughout, pine doors, fully fitted kitchen with marble work surfaces. Locally made wrought iron furniture, air conditioning and mosquito screens on doors and windows. Outside is a private terrace area, landscaped gardens, a large swimming pool and a children's pool. There are broad tiled steps down into the main pool, spacious sun terraces and a pool shower. Lighting is set into the walls all around the pool and garden areas.

Kalkan is situated on Turkey's beautiful south west Mediterranean coast, known as the Turquoise coast, between the towns of Fethiye ( 87 km to the west) and Kas (27 km to the east). Nestled in the bay at the foot of the Taurus Mountains the natural geography of the town and its surrounding area affords spectacular sea and mountain views. The heart of Kalkan is its Old Town, a maze of small cobbled streets winding down to the harbour. The streets are lined with many old Greek and Turkish buildings covered with bougainvillea, occupied by small boutique shops and restaurants. Kalkan has a small beach and is close to the famous beaches of Patara and Kaputas cove. It is also close to many historical and geographical sites. Above all Kalkan is most famous for its high quality but reasonably priced restaurants. There are over 100 to choose from, many on the roof tops with lovely views across the bay.
