Perfect for long or short term letting, Lara apartment is arranged on 2 floors and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with an additional sofa bed in the front room. It sleeps 7/8. The apartment is located in a block of 6 in a quiet, typically Turkish residential street. There is a small swimming pool and sun loungers available. The apartment has a front room, kitchen & outside dining on a large terrace, an attic style bedroom upstairs (with terrace) and 2 large bedrooms on the first floor. There is a utility room with a washing machine, iron, & board & clothes dryer. All bedding and luxury towels are provided. It's close to Fethiye town centre and a 15 min walk from the historic harbour area which boasts numerous authentic Turkish restaurants & bars. A 20 minute dolmus ride away is the world famous beach of Olu Deniz. There is a large supermarket with a cafe 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Transfers to & from Dalaman airport & car hire can be arranged at reasonable rates by the owners

• A deposit of 25% is required 8 weeks before your holiday, with the full amount being payable a minimum of 1 week before departure. A cheque for £200 is also required, which will be returned to you providing all is well in the property.

Accommodation and Facilities for the apartment in Turkey

The local area of Fethiye.

There is paragliding available every day from Babadag mountain with a soft landing on Olu Deniz beach! There is also parasailling available as well as pedalos in the blue lagoon at the National Park in Olu Deniz. There are many restaurants in Fethiye which are reasonably priced, as well as bars and nightclubs. There is also a authentic bazaar area in the old town of Fethiye as well as a huge market every Tuesday where a wide variety of jewelry and leather are for sale, as well as traditional Turkish foods and spices. There is a Migros supermarket (similar to Asda) a 5 minute walk away from the apartment where everything for a self-catering holiday can be bought. There is also a fantastic well priced cafe there which is ideal for the first breakfast after arrival! Kids will love the mini golf and trampoline areas over the road from this supermarket. IF you wait outside the supermarket a minibus will come along (marked 'Calis') and will take you to Sultan's Aqua Land

Car hire & transfers to and from airport

THERE IS NO NEED TO HIRE A CAR; THERE ARE SMALL MINIBUSES CALLED DOLMUSES WHICH TRAVEL VERY REGULARLY ON ALL ROUTES AND ARE VERY CHEAP. THEY STOP ON REQUEST AND GO TO MANY DIFFERENT LOCATIONS INCLUDING OLU DENIZ BEACH AND PAST THE ROAD JUST OFF FROM THE APARTMENT! The apartment owner can arrange transfers to and from Dalaman airport at reasonable rates and also car hire for part or all of your holiday if required. There is no need to have a car as there is an excellent transport system of Minibuses in Turkey called 'dolmus'. They will take you to your destination very cheaply and in comfort! When you arrive there is a meet and greet service where you will be shown how everything works and given some brief info on the apartment and local area. The guide will speak English! Boat trips with a meal included can be arranged for as little as £6 per person. These last all day and are highly enjoyable.
