Super family friendly villa with fantastic facilities!
First class feedback for the second year running, makes this villa an excellent choice for families and exceptional value. With stunning views to Rabbit Island in the bay of Gundogan, Villa Alexia welcomed international families in the summer of 2005 with guests from as far afield as Finland, UK, France and Turkey. The feedback and reviews that we have received show that we have succeeded in offering a very comfortable villa, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and equipped with facilities that have something to offer for the whole family. The turquoise blue Olympic sized pool has been a great favourite with the children. Beautifully clean and clear with a neighbouring toddlers pool, you can spend the whole day here lazing on the sunbeds and having cold drinks and snacks from the pool-side cafe. Underneath the pool is a market, open long hours, selling bread, milk, water, wine and raki etc (all essentials) and providing for your daily needs.

Gundogan, a traditional Turkish village with a local community who live here all year round. Not a heartless resort designed for summer guests with no soul or character. Here you will be welcomed as a friend and during your stay will be part of the village. Watch weddings in the car park and enjoy local village festivals. We do recommend a car. It is very possible to enjoy the villa and go down to the village by dolmus, also to venture into Bodrum, however to get the most of from this area, and your total holiday experience, we do suggest car hire. We have our own car hire company, who will, I guarantee offer the best rates on the Peninsula, so do email for a quote for airport transfers, car, scooter or jeep hire.

Thank you for all your help in making our trip to Gundogan such a great holiday. We are home safe and sound and missing Turkey dreadfully! Our flights actually left early which was a surprise & England is cool and wet!! Hi Jacquie Many thanks for allowing us to stay at your magnificent villa. It was incredible. Nothing how I imagined. The villa was very spacious and felt very homey. We all had a tremendous week and enjoyed the lovely sunshine immensely. The Turkish people were very helpful, however, we did have a few problems communicating! If you could say many thanks to Murat and Emmit for their help, that would be great. Again, I would just like to say a big thanks to you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful villa. We have just returned home from your Villa in Gundugan this morning.
We had a wonderfully relaxed time and the villa was excellent : well furnished, spotlessly clean and in a great position overlooking the bay.
The swimming pool was simply stunning - it must be near Olympic size and immaculately presented.
The people on the Bodrum Peninsula were exactly as you described, charming, friendly and ever helpful. When combined with the remarkable value seen in restaurants and shops, it's hard to think of a better and more relaxed place for a family holiday.
