An oasis of tranquility and calm, this luxury family friendly villa is tastefully furnished in a contemporary note. It is at the foot of the Babadag mountains where the air is cooler and the welcome breeze gentle. The breathtaking views of the pine and almond clad mountainside and valleys can be enjoyed on the terrace and pool area is sun kissed nearly all day. The fully air-conditioned house offers all modern amenities, boasting 2 double bedrooms each with a balcony and a twin with mountain view. The ground floor has a spacious open plan living room with TV, DVD & CD player, and an adjoining kitchen that opens on to a small balcony at the back and a large balcony overlooking the pool, with dining and lounging area. All of the outside areas are paved in natural limestone with off road parking, a gated drive & landscaped walled gardens around the property. Weekly maid service and pool cleaning is provided and transfers and car hire be arranged. Great for families and romantic holidays.

Located in Ovacik, the secluded village of outstanding beauty in the famed Olu Deniz (The Blue Lagoon) beach area, the villa is perched at the foothills of the Babadag Mountains. With the best location in the village, close to the beach and only the mountains as a back drop, the villa is roughly 15 minutes walk from the lively village of Hisaronu and a 5 minute ride to the beach. The local bus service is frequent and services the local town of Fethiye with lots of activities to suit all ages and interests. There is plenty to keep the restless busy and enough peace and space for those seeking solitude.

Additional information about rental rates

  • In order to confirm your stay, a deposit of 25% of the full payment (or full payment if booking within 6 weeks of departure) must be paid at the time of booking. This deposit is not refundable in the event of your cancellation or failure to pay on time. The balance of the cost of your stay must be received by us not less than 6 weeks prior to departure (or at the time of booking if this date has passed). This date will be shown on the confirmation invoice. If you have not paid in full and on time we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.
  • A deposit of £200.00 to cover the property is payable with the balance of the rental. Should you or any member of your party be responsible for any breakages, loss or damage of any item at the property or of the property itself during your stay, a charge will be made after you leave the property (deducted from this deposit) to cover the cost of replacement or repair. If extra cleaning is necessary after your departure, the charge incurred will also be deducted from your deposit. This deposit will be refunded after your return from holiday less all applicable deductions. This will usually be approximately 28 days after you leave the property. If the security deposit is not sufficient to cover any damage caused by you, you will be responsible for paying us any additional monies required immediately on request from us.

The Local Area - Olu Deniz: Olu Deniz Mountain Valley sits at the bottom of 'Baba Dag' or 'Father Mountain'. Olu Deniz, which is only a short journey away, has one of the most beautiful beaches in Turkey and also the world famous Blue Lagoon. At both the beach & lagoon there are a wide selection of water sports available and speed boats can be hired. There are also daily boat trips which depart from the main beach, touring around the beautiful Olu Deniz bays and include a barbeque lunch on board. In Olu Deniz there is also a small selection of bars, restaurants and 'lokantas' (specialising in Turkish cuisine). You can go diving but for this is unlikely to satisfy the advanced or more experienced diver!

The Local Area - Hisaronu & Fethiye : For the more lively, nearby Hisaronu village which is only a 5 minute walk away from Mountain Valley, offers a more bustling nightlife and a greater selection of shops, restaurants & bars as well as a weekly outdoor market where many bargains can be found and haggled over! The nearby town of Fethiye is only a 15 minute dolmus (the local bus service) ride away. This is where you will find a wealth of jewellery/leather/traditional Turkish carpet shops as well as many other local attractions and historical sites. A huge outdoor market is also held here every Tuesday. Fethiye harbour has some of the best views of this region of the South West Turkish coast - also known as the 'Turquoise' coast, and also, for fish lovers, some of the most delicious seafood!

We have just returned from the villa and have had an amazing time. Having stayed in the area twice before, this is by far our best holiday because of A. the location - so near Hisoranou & Olu Deniz, but also B. the tranquility. The villa is exactly as described, it`s very peaceful and so lovely relaxing by the pool during the day. It`s very well maintained and when there was a problem (water pipe, wear & tear) it was fixed within literally hours of us reporting it. We went after a mad period of work & it gave us exactly what we needed. We love this area & would love to stay at the villa again. There`s no need to go into the touristy parts, shisah bar at bottom of the road is great (good food) & Buzz Bar in Olu Deniz is excellent (along beach front, turn left from dolmus). Definitely recommend

Fantastic Villa and holiday :)

Myself and 4 others stayed in this lovley villa in August and we all had a fantastic time. Not only was the villa perfect for our needs its was also in a brilliant location, only 2 mins walk from a small shop and 7 mins from a main village which had shops restaraunts and bars.
I would highly recommend this villa to anyone of all ages, you will be blown away with the view's and sunsets around the villa.

A perfect holiday retreat...

We have recently returned from a superb holiday - the villa is located in a wonderful peaceful location and is very private. The area offers great diversity offering both a peaceful restful environment in the foothills of the mountain together with a vibrant young nightlife in Hisoranu just 15mins walk away. The local people are really friendly and always keen to chat! The villa is very well equipped and comfortable, with the pool & gardens maintained on a daily basis. Pippa arranged our transfers which all went very smoothly. We had intended renting a car, but travel by dolmus is very cheap, easy and good fun so we used these instead. Would also recommend paragliding off Badadag and quad biking - all very good value for money. This villa is a little piece of paradise hidden away - we hope to return.

We had the most superb holiday, the villa was fantastic, well equipped, perfectly located, it was great not having to drive everywhere, especially in the evenings.
It was sad to leave. The people werein Ovacik, near Olu Deniz really friendly, most helpful.

This villa is perfect for a family or a group of friends wantnig to chill out. The villa has many home comforts, with a very welcome welcome pack upon arrival; it is clean and well maintained, with well-furnished comfortable rooms. It is well situated for sights and nightlife. I have been there more than once, and am planning on visiting again!
