Located on the hillside with a backdrop of the Taurus mountains, this lovely private villa is well equiped and beautifully furnished. Stunning views of Kalkan bay. Two of the bedrooms have balconies whilst the third has a large private terrace. The villa is equiped for eight it has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, satellite TV, CD/radio and DVD player. Outside there is a private pool and large patio area, to the rear of the property is another large patio which is welcomed in the height of the summer as it remains reasonably cool. The villa is on a hill so not recommended for the disabled or elderly. The villa has parking space.

Kalkan is a beautiful harbour town with enchanting narrow streets and cobbled alley-ways full of intriguing boutiques, craft shops, restaurants and bars which show the true flavour of Turkey. the local beach is very popular and just a short walk downhill The stunning beaches of Kapitas and Pattara. are a short bus ride away The water is crystal clear and turquoise. The ancient city of Xanthos, Saklikent Gorge and Letoon are all nearby and worth a trip. The harbour offers a wealth of activities sailing, fishing snorkeling. Part of Kalkan's charm is its setting on a steep hillside spread around a bay this is one of the reasons that it has escaped mass tourism and major development. Unfortunately this also means that Kalkan is not recommended for anyone who has difficulties walking. There is a regular 'dolmus' service which runs from Fethye-Pattara-Kas through Kalkan. Kas is the nearest town and is worth a visit.

Fantastic

I would like to give this a poor result Just to keep it to myself. What a fantastic place. Liz the owner was so helpful and accomodating when our flights were changed at the last min. The villa its self was lovely well equiped. If i were to ask for any changes it would be the 3rd attic bedroom could do with a modern air con that would run quietly. But that said it worked and did the job. We loved being able to sit out and play cards at night round the big table looking out over the bay. Being on a steep sloap down to town wasnt a problem we just walked down either did the shopping or went out for meals and then a taxi back, took two mins and didnt cost much.

We have people who look after our villa who are helpful and friendly but don't interfere.

Well what can i say.....................

You have the most wonderful villa. Everything was perfect. The standard of cleanliness was second to none both inside and out.There was plenty comfortable furniture outside and plenty of umbrellas. The accommodation was spacious with plenty storage. The airconditioning units were powerful and as there was one in every room we were able to find relief from the lovely Turkish sun.
The provision of beach towels and hairdryers was excellent. The information pack in the villa was most informative and helpful.
I can honestly say i have not 1 complaint or recommendation for improvement. Not once did i find myself saying i wish there was ...................

Your neighbour Gareth was very helpful without being intrusive and on a couple of occasions was able so sort out the small hiccups we had.


All in all we had the most wonderful holiday and were most happy and comfortable staying in your villa. We would be happy to recommend your villa to anyone who makes an inquiry and you may pass our details on to any prospective holidaymakers as we would be more than happy to tell them how perfect everything was.

'Excellent Villa'

We have recently returned from our third stay in four years at this property and can say that it remains a firm favourite with us.
There is everything you could need within, which is all well maintained. Outside, the pool and terrace area is lovely with wonderful views of Kalkan and the bay. The description really does fit the reality very well. Both the owners and the maintenance staff provided us with prompt and good service before and during our stay.
Kalkan is a beautiful old town, with many eating choices plus good facilities for those who want to self cater. Treat yourselves to a meal on the harbour or in the old town, the restaurants are all excellent.
Turkish Bath at The Regency Hotel is a great experience!
Lots of places to visit beyond, Patara Beach, Saklikent Gorge and Fethiye to name a few.
All in all this Villa and Kalkan are our sort of place and am sure that they would be yours too.
