On the ground floor:
This luxury, air-conditioned villa, with its large open plan lounge with patio doors leading out to the pool, terrace and gardens, has a traditional white-stone fireplace around which are comfy sofas and armchairs. To add to your relaxation the lounge has satellite TV, a DVD and a CD player. The modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare great meals, being fully equipped with a Bosch oven, hob, large upright fridge-freezer and dishwasher, as well as a microwave and toaster. There is also a useful breakfast bar with seating for four. The spacious dining area has an attractive wooden table that can accommodate up to eight people comfortably. There is also a big bathroom on the ground floor with wc and double walk-in shower. A wide marble staircase leads to the first floor.
The bedrooms, laundry room and roof terrace:
On the first floor are the two main bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a super-kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom with luxury jacuzzi bath, as well as a shower and WC. The second bedroom has twin beds and an ensuite with bath, shower and wc. Both bedrooms have been furnished with local hand-crafted wooden furniture, have plenty of wardrobe space, and benefit from large private balconies complete with tables and chairs and spectacular views across the bay. The marble staircase continues to the second floor with its third bedroom furnished with twin beds, a fully equipped laundry room, and a large roof terrace with barbecue, sink and wooden table and six chairs, in fact everything you need for al fresco dining. All rooms, including the roof terrace, have stunning views of the bay and mountains.
Pool, sun terrace and gardens:
Villa Ihlara provides luxury living both inside and out. Outside, the villa has a private swimming pool of 30sq m, and a sun terrace furnished with umbrellas and deluxe wooden sun loungers that have pull-out tables and thick cushions. A poolside shower adds to your comfort. The large garden provides natural shade throughout the day and is planted with Italian grass and numerous flowering plants and shrubs, including hibiscus and bougainvillea. There are also a variety of trees, including olive and lemon, palm, pomegranate and a banana tree which produces wonderful tasting fruit in late September. In addition, Villa Ilhara has a garage (although the property’s location means a car is not essential); outside lighting; louvre shutters; and insect screens on all doors and windows. It also benefits from cooling sea breezes. Villa Ihlara, with its perfect views and location, comes highly recommended.
