Watermill cottage is situated on the edge of Bryngwran village on the Isle of Anglesey, it's a fantastic location for outdoor and active vacations during all seasons, or just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The cottage has recently been sympathetically converted from an old stone barn, to a spacious cottage offering superb accommodation of an exceptionally high standard. It's been tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished and has plenty of character, such as the wooden and slate flooring, exposed stone walls and large oak beams, a particular feature in the living area. The cottage benefits from its own secluded terraced garden with a patio and barbecue area at the back of the house, whilst at the front there is room for three cars to park amply in their own private area.

Anglesey has over 650 miles of footpaths which enable you to discover and explore the 120 miles of coastline, including sandy beaches and rocky headland. Much of this coastline is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or owned by the National Trust, it's hardly surprising then that 25 per cent of the award-winning beaches in Wales are on Anglesey.

You'll find a whole host of sea related activities to enjoy, there's sailing, sea fishing, Kite and windsurfing and canoeing. For those of you who are a little less 'thrill-seeking' the miles of wonderful footpaths will enable you to discover the vast variety of wildlife which thrives on the island, especially the bird population, whilst fantastic views of the distant Snowdonian mountains can be seen at some points. The property makes for an ideal base from which to explore all this and more.

Stunning Accomodation

Just returned from a short stay at the Watermill Cottage and it was everything and more than I expected. I love Anglesey and to find a cottage as accommodating and homely whilst visiting the area was ideal. The Cottage was furnished to a very high standard, the Kitchen was equipped brilliantly and the warmth of the cottage from the cold outside was very homely.
The children fought over who got to sleep on the elevated balcony area which overlooked the living area which was a big plus for them.
The property was spotless and with next cottage along being there for on hand support should you require it provides so much peace of mind.
Location was ideal to explore the island and the surrounding Snowdonia range, so will look forward to revisiting in the future.

Fantasic Cottage - Superb Standard & Quality

A superb cottage, fantasic facilities, slept 8 of us easily.
Was just the week away we wanted.

We went between Xmas and the new year, the owners had decorated to cottage for Xmas, left us an Xmas card and crackers! A fantasic touch, just going the extra mile to make everyone feel so welcome.

Listing description didnt do it justice, spacious, clean, immaculately maintained and a very professional letting.

Owners were fantastic with communication and touches when we arrived.

I couldnt recommend it highly enough.

Home from home

Just dropping you a line to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the cottage last week. The weather wasn’t great (windy!!!), but everything else was lovely.

Getting back to the cottage after being buffeted on the beach was a joy! The accommodation is of a superb standard, so cozy and welcoming - it felt like a real home from home to all of us.

We won’t hesitate to come again next year!

Relaxing week away

Just returned from a wonderful week spent at Watermill Cottage.Excellent location - perfect for exploring Anglesey.The cottage was lovely - well maintained, clean and tidy, facilities were great - it had everything you needed for a home from home experience . We visited many different places - beaches at Church Bay, Benllech, Moelfre, Newborough,Rhosneigr,Rhoscolyn(great rock pools !)and beach at RAF Valley which was great and the children loved watching the jets take off ! Went to Beaumaris Castle and to Portmerion too.
Owner very helpful with the booking ,directions ,info etc. Will definitely recommend this property to friends and family . We hope to return soon.
