Situated in the beautiful village of Llanbedr, this fine example of an Arts and Crafts house is convenient for the beach and all local amenities. Located between the Rhinog Mountains and the beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay, this is the perfect location to explore Snowdonia. The house has 5 bedrooms, the main bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The two other first floor bedrooms have there own washing facilities, a double bed and two singles. A family bathroom has a bath and shower and the second floor has a double and two single beds with mountain views. The ground floor has a Large lounge, dining room and breakfast room with a rayburn stove. A large farmhouse kitchen has a halogen hob, microwave and dishwasher. A downstairs toilet, utility room, and store room complete the accommodation. A large front garden has ample off road parking for 4 cars and a garage. The rear garden is not over looked and has a large terrace and barbecue. An ideal place to relax in a comfortable country house

The house is located opposite the River and only a short walk from the village centre. The village has two pubs, newsagent, butchers, post office, delicatessen, restaurant, beauty salon and small supermarket. 7 miles from the seaside town of Barmouth to the South and 3 miles from Harlech to the north with the fantastic castle, beautiful beaches and Championship Royal St Davids golf course. A regular bus service and local railway station links the Cambrian coastline with connections to the Midlands. Shell island is two miles and an ideal place for those wanting to find shells, or just enjoy walks along the beach, there is also a small harbour and river are ideal for those with an interest in fishing. Salmon can be found, when the River is in flood.

Walking: The house is located in an excellent position to enjoy the many walks and trails in the area. The Rhinog mountains have many different trails for both novices and experienced hill walks. The views from the top of Moefre in particular are stunning. If you prefer something less arduous, then the Beaches and Shell Island are both excellent places.

Bird Watching: Shell Island is home to numerous species and as the reed beds and flats provide a haven and varied habitat, there is always something to see.

Golf: 10 mins drive from the house is one of the finest golf courses in Wales, if not the UK. Not for the casual golfer Royal St Davids course plays host to many tournaments and is a test for the finest players.

Other Activities: A table tennis table is available in the garage and can be used outdoors.

Ideal Holiday Home To Explore North Wales

Our family have stayed at the house for the last 5 years for our annual North Wales holiday fix and each year we enjoy our stay more and more. The house caters for large families, with great size rooms, breakfast room, kitchen, lounge area and lovely garden ideal for young children to explore. Set in a quiet village and a 5 minute drive from Shell Island it is a prime location to stay and explore North Wales. The house has all the creature comforts you want when the Welsh weather does it's usual along with a real family environment to it.

Excellent Family House

We are a 3 generation family of 9 who have just returned from Wales . The house has more than enough room for everybody with a huge downstairs and plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms . A fantastic location with Shell Island beach 5 minutes in a car , Barmouth 10 minutes away and miles and miles of walks . There is a fantastic butchers in the village and we can all recommend his lamb burgers ! Neil gives an excellent description of the house and it was very clean . We really could not ask for more and we will definitely be returning , very highly recommended .

Holiday in Snowdonia

We haven't been to Snowdonia for a while, but cant wait to go back. The views of the mountains and sea on our walks around the village were stunning. The house is huge and was comfortable enough for our party of 8.
The breakfast room in particular, with the Aga was the perfect place to warm up after our walks. We would recommend the house to anyone else who wants a place for a family reunion and a great base for exploring the area.

Nice location

Generally a spacious house, in a nice setting, with very good local amenities. The 'master' bedroom has a bed which was too small (it appeared to be smaller than a double) for the 2 couples in the house, but our 12 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed it! The bedrooms were simple, and had nice comfy beds, and the reclining chairs in the lounge were well loved by all!
