One mile from the glorious beach at Benllech on the Isle of Anglesey, Tyddyn Teiliwr provides the perfect destination for a relaxing 'get away from it all' holiday or short break. The cottage overlooks an excellent coarse fishing lake within 8 acres of rolling Welsh countryside. The luxury two-bedroom cottage consists of an open plan lounge, the centrepiece being a beautiful modern oak stair-case. Tastefully furnished throughout in cream, beige & neutral tones, giving a very calming & restful accommodation. The entire cottage has been designed for our guests comfort and relaxation & also offers FREE fishing for one person when making a booking for 7 days. Ground floor double bedroom with en-suite wet room & one twin room, separate wet-room provided. Large French windows open out into a large terraced decking area, complete with barbeque and wonderful views of the lake. Under floor heating throughout, fully fitted luxury kitchen, TV, DVD player, all bed linen & towels supplied

A fantastic cottage with very nice fittings. An idylic location next to the lake and great fishing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet break away from it all.

Very Nice week long holiday

The cottage is well furnished and located. The kitchen is well stocked in equipment and includes everything needed to prepare culinary miracles for the table except ingredients and the magic touch. You do need a vehicle to get around here unless you walk 1 mile+ to nearby towns for necessities. We loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keith and Jean were especially nice to get to know and we appreciated their intervention to replace the hob when it became unusable through malfunction and our inexperience. It was replaced with a new one the same day we asked for assistance. We had privacy, peace and quiet throughout our stay and enjoyed the walks on the country lanes where we saw many new born lambs and and met friendly locals. We were a party of 4 adults and the cottage worked well for us and we would definitely return. It was slightly smaller than the pictures led us to expect but we had no trouble adapting. There are many things to see on and around Anglesey and we couldn't do them all on this trip. Attractions are easy to get to and traffic is not a problem. The fish pond attracts a lot of attention (users) but it was not a bother for us. The cottage is relatively new and is done with top notch products - it was delightful. This cottage is well worth a visit. Thanks to Keith and Jean.

tranquill peace and quiet

We stayed there at christmas 2009 with our family dog had a fab time. the cottage is finished to a very high standard, The owners put in little extras for our stay lovely made up table for christmas day with each of us having a little presents of chocs and a bottle of wine.
My son was in his element as he was fishing all day he didnt catch any thing but he enjoyed it,
It was great for us knowing he has safe.

Holiday Cottage Tyddun Teiliwer Angelasey

This was a beautiful cottage the interior was to a high standard, very clean, well layed out and equipped for a family.
We were both comfortable and relaxed and the views were super as it is surrounded by farmland.
We were made very welcome by the owners who have worked extremely hard to provide a lovely holiday getaway with special home comforts.
The cottage is situated next to a small fishing lake which made evenings very pleasant and tranquil.
The terrace was excellent for dining outside and came with its own barbeque and ample furniture.
The situation is very close to Benllech beach just a five minute drive or 1 mile walk, but there are also walks around the cottage enabling visitors to soak in rural life in Angelsey.
There is so much to do and see in the area that time soon runs out, but some recommendations would include - Red Wharf Bay, castles, of course, the druid and ancient Briton sites and standing stones on the island, crab fishing from Beaumaris and Bangor piers and the coastal pathwalks.
Details of places to visit were available in the cottage to help plan days.
We would like to recommend a super Polish deli / bistro in Menai Bridge which we visited often on our way home for continental treats.
We would highly recommend this property for a short break or family holiday and it would make a super destination for winter too.
