This stunning cottage is situated in a unique location, offering private access to the 80 acres of the estate of Plas Glyn-y-Weddw (Woodland & Grassed areas). The estate nestles in an idyllic corner of Llanbedrog extending down to the beach. Paddock cottage itself, is a beautiful 300 metre stroll down to the beach (past a popular beach bistro). The cottage is something special to view making it an ideal retreat for any time of the year. The origins of the name lie in the fact that the property was the original stables on the estate, and has been converted into cosy accommodation whilst retaining many original features. The cottage & its location will provide lasting memories of a special holiday. BEECH HUT USE INCLUDED!!....The National Trust own the beach, and we have for a Trust provided beach hut available for guests use between Easter & the start of September included in the price....a real help for all of those bits of beach equipment you can store and for privacy & shelter!.

On a recent edition of BBC's countryfile (Aug 2006), the cottage & idyllic setting formed the backdrop to John Craven's intro to the Llyn episode. Ideal location 300 metres to the sea, 100 metres to café, 300 metres to the bistro, 800 metres to pub & shop, everything is close to hand. Tucked away on the Llyn Peninsula, Llanbedrog offers the ideal base for a family or activity based break. Llanbedrog offers an ideal base in a picturesque setting and is close to the popular village of Abersoch with its trendy shops & watersports. The cottage itself is situated within the grounds of the Plas Glyn-y-Weddw estate, with its art gallery and café. It is especially renowned for its sheltered sandy beach (the most sheltered in North Wales) nestling under a steep rocky headland covered with picturesque heather and fringed by pine trees. The breathtaking beauty of the approach road has probably been painted and photographed more often than any area in this peninsula of unforgettable scenery

Beach Life: The Beach at Llanbedrog has a cafe / bistro on, and is often seen in photographs and portraits of the Llyn. The sea gently slopes into the sea, and provides a safe environment for a family. At the entrance to the beech is a small stream running down to the sea that provides hours of entertainment.

Activity: The Llyn is packed with activities to suit all tastes from ramblers & families and is a great spot to take a break. The location of this property means that you will rarely need the car for the whole break, with everything truly on your doorstep.

We had an amazing holiday here. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained with lots of character. Plenty to do in the area, even when raining! Dave had left loads of leaflets on things to do in the area which was really helpful and saved a trip to the TIC.

Lovely afternoon teas served in the Gallery up the hill and the Galley bistro on the beach is fab.

Would definitely recommend this cottage for it's idyllic location.

What a stunning property in a gorgeous setting. Myself and my partner were thrilled with our week in this property and highly recommend it. It is something we want to return to next year.
The cottage is situated in the perfect position with an award winning tea room attached to the country house. A lovely family pub just around the corner and a fabulous Bistro on the beach.
The scenery is very special with many amazing walks in the area. There can't be many sandy beaches where you can sit see the top of Snowdon!
We'd recommend this to anyone, we're a professional couple but this kind of holiday would be ideal for young or old.
We were also very impressed with the presentation of the property and the helpfulness of the owner.
A superb holiday which we couldn't fault!
