A truly beautiful building, with thick curvy stone walls and beams and heaps of character. Open plan kitchen diner living room with oak flooring. The pine kitchen has an oil fired Rayburn, electric oven and gas hob, fridge and washing machine. The diner has a pine table and chairs and antique church pew for seating. The living room has comfy sofas and rocking chair and a Jotul wood burnig stove. There are radiators from the oil fired Rayburn. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a cot, a twin galleried bedroom and a further single sleeping loft. There is direct access to the garden and moor + mountains.

The cottage is nestled in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains, in the heart of the bluestone country. The setting is idyllic with direct access to the moor and mountains with it's sheep and wild ponies. Gors Fawr 5000 year old stone circle is just 5 minutes walk from the cottage, and a 2 hour walk takes you up to the quarry on Carn Meini where the bluestones were taken to make the inner ring of stone henge. Ideal for walkers and people looking to truly get away from it all. The beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline hosts the most spectacular scenery and beaches as well as wildlife. The cottages are situated 1/2 a mile from the small village of Mynachlogddu...and up a 200 yard track from the lane...all making at avery safe place for children...

Notes: The Cowshed is a beautiful place for families as well as a romantic retreat for couples. There is a children's play area with sandpit, slide, children's play house and a wooden garden train...as well as plenty of safe space to play on the moor. All beds have duvets and pillows and guests can choose to hire linen @ £6 pp or bring their own.

Five Cottages at Trallwyn: There are five different properties at Trallwyn sleeping a max 21 people plus 2 babies. There is a 300 year old Farmhouse which sleeps 6. A Lodge which has delightful mountain views and 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5. Trallwyn Cottage is designed for 3 people and Trallwyn studio caters for 1-2 people and is a small unit full of charm, a romantic hideaway. It is possible to book all the cottages for larger groups. If you wish to do this it is advisable to book in advance.

Pottery Tuition: Pottery is available at Ashera Pottery with Anna Kavanagh, artist and teacher. Anna has experience both with adults and children as well as special needs. If you would like to have a go it is possible to do anything from a couple of hours to full days or weeks. It's best to discuss your requirements with Anna. Suitable for complete beginners and the more experienced. Teaching is designed for your needs whether it be hand building or throwing on the wheel, or sculpture. Work produced at the beginning of the week is fired and then you can glaze and decorate it and take home finished pieces at the end of the week.

Other Activities: Pottery tuition is available on site with Anna in the Pottery Workshop + is suitable for adults + children.
