The driveway winds for half a mile through the woods to this delightful cottage, set in five acres of extensive lawns and a beautiful woodland garden surrounded by a stream. Total peace and seclusion make this a great location for a relaxing holiday, somewhere where you can forget about deadlines, completely unwind and enjoy the surrounding nature. Children will love playing in the garden and stream below the cottage. However, if you're feeling a bit more energetic then Llys-y-fran Reservoir and Country Park is a five minute drive through the lanes and is a great place to walk, fish or cycle. There are many excellent walks in the Preseli Hills and along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and you can leave your car at one end and then take advantage of the excellent coastal bus service to take you back to your starting point meaning you won't have to retrace your steps.

Gardener's Cottage is just outside the hamlet of New Moat at the end of a half mile woodland drive and 3 miles from Maenclochog where there are 2 general stores and 2 petrol stations. Newport is 12 miles away with its good range of individual shops, galleries, craft workshops, restaurants, a golf course and a large sandy beach. Bikes and boats can be hired there too. A 5 minute drive from the cottage, is Llys-y-Fran Reservoir where you can hire bikes and cycle or walk the 7 mile circular route round the lake. A little further afield is historic St David's with its attractive cathedral, making it Britain's smallest City. There are many beautiful beaches to explore; you can go on boat trips to small islands off the coast where you will see cliffs, caves, endless birds and, more often than not, seals. Oakwood theme park with one of the best wooden roller coasters in the world is a half hour drive away. Or just relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of this unique setting.

A fantastic peaceful and lovely cottage what beautiful gardens we had a great relaxing stay. The dogs loved there peaceful morning and evening walks and were so well behaved love to return soon.
