A beautiful seven-bedroom Edwardian house set on a seaside cliff in North Wales with one of the most majestic views in the British Isles.

Five minute walk brings you to 4 miles of sandy beach in one direction, rock pools in the other, safe swimming. One mile away is the historic town of Harlech with castle, restaurants, shops etc., and world-class golf course. And of course all within easy reach by car is the fabulous Snowdonia National Park, with spectacular mountain scenery, rivers, lakes, etc.

The house has been completely refurbished to the highest standards throughout, and is an absolutely top-class location for a quiet getaway or a large family gathering, with an endless amount of local activities for all ages and dispositions, or simply the elegant and peaceful atmosphere of the house itself.

Situated within Snowdonia's National Park, Llys Tanwg is within reach of some of the finest scenery in the UK, with fabulous mountains, rivers, valleys, nature trails and remote villages.

All within an hour of Llys Tanwg, you can visit historic monuments, castles, and religious sites, ride on the famous narrow-gauge Ffestiniog railway, play golf on one of the world’s greatest courses, go horse-riding or white-water rafting, explore slate caverns, hill walk, mountain or rock climb, river, lake or sea swimming, kite-surf or windsurf, or just stay home and enjoy the beautiful house and it's views, and play in the games room.

Behind the house on foot, you are soon on the hills where there are wonderful walking opportunities.

If you want to set out by car, there are a host of beautiful and isolated spots all under 20 minutes drive away, such as Shell Island, hidden valleys, and the mountain range inland where ravens and falcons fly and wild goats can still be seen.

The best place to stay in North Wales!

This has been a firm favourite of my family and more recently my wife and I. The house has the most amazing views of the sea, beach and the distant Snowdon. It's size allows for large groups or families to stay without feeling cramped and ther's plenty to kee the children occupied an happy. It's location is suited to those wanting to ditch the car and relax in peace and quiet, or those wanting to walk from the house to the enormous and mostly empty sandy beach & sand dunes, as well as those wishing to use it as a base for exploring the many tourist attractions on offer close by. Personally I've used it for all the above! Highly recomended!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
