Close to Newport boat club and 9 hole golf course, and Newport village with all amenities and excellent local butcher. Newport is within the Pembrokeshire National Park and is on the coastal path.

Newport is an attractive, small coastal town between Fishguard and Cardigan. It boasts both a Norman Castle and a Church, which stand proudly above this small medieval town on the slopes of Carn Ingli mountain. Ancient streets and pathways lead directly to the river Nevern (Nyfer) Estuary teeming with wildlife. Pretty walks from the town lead the visitor to the heights of Carn Ingli (Mount of Angels) with splendid vistas to Snowdonia, the Wicklow Mountains and St. David's Peninsula. Descend from the heights to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with its abundance of wild flowers and secret sheltered coves.
