Agde’s black sand beaches are a delight to visit. The black sands give the coastline an absolutely magical atmosphere and are excellent for sunbathing on. Sunbathers soak in the endless rays on the sands of La Mole beach, whilst families tend to head towards the safe swimming waters of Rochelongue. Just along the coastline from Agde, France, is the famous seaside resort of the Cap d’Agde too, with the glorious, yet often crowded, beaches, endless water sports opportunities and all the expected facilities of a high class beach resort. Cap d’Agde holidays are most famous for the naturist quarter of the resort.

There is even a top golf course in the area.

Agde’s Mediterranean climate provides wonderfully long summer and short, mild winters. During the long summer months, Agde’s weather is hot and dry, with little rain and daily peak temperatures of over 30˚C daily from May until October. July and August see Agde’s weather peak, with temperatures occasionally reaching up to 40˚C, whilst the short winter months still relish temperatures of between 10 and 15˚C daily.
