There is always something happening in Almoradi, with an excellent communal swimming pool located in the centre of town and some wonderful golf courses in the vicinity, including the famous golf courses of La Finca and La Marquesa, both of which can be reached in just a few minutes by car. There are also a great number of events throughout the year, celebrating various aspects of local life, but always resulting in feasts, music and dancing. The Moors and Christian Festival in July is a particularly good time to be spending time in Almoradi accommodation. The Saturday market is not to be missed either, bringing the village to life every Saturday throughout the year.

During the evenings, there is plenty of entertainment to enjoy from an Almoradi villa. Aside from the many local restaurants, Almoradi town is also home to an excellent little theatre, information on which is readily available from the Almoradi tourist information offices, and fantastic casino and a great selection of bars.

The salt flats of Torrevieja make for magnificent viewing, and although there are many miles of excellent walking, mountain biking and horse riding trails surrounding Almoradi (for route maps, visit the Almoradi tourist information centre), the Torrevieja salt flats are home to over 250 species of animal and bird, making them a nature lovers dream.

The coastal towns of Torrevieja and Guardamar are both within 25 minutes of a holiday rental in Almoradi town. The beaches of Torrevieja are absolutely fantastic, with long, stretches of golden sand lining the coast. There are a huge range of beaches in the area, and whether you would like to enjoy the many tourist facilities of beaches like Cabo Roig and La Mata, or the quieter, more secluded beaches along the coast.

Almoradi holidays are known for their mild climates, with average temperatures in July and August reaching a staggering 30˚C. During the middle of the day in summer, the beaches of the Costa Blanca are a huge attraction, as midday temperatures can reach up to 40˚C. During the middle of winter, you will usually experience daily temperatures of between 16 and 20˚C.
