Sheltered in the strangely named Bay des Fourmis, the Beaulieu-sur-Mer beach is long and sandy, with plenty of space to lay your towel, even during the summer peak season. There is a shaded promenade which runs the length of the beach, with plenty of tables outside restaurants and cafes shaded by trees. At the end of the bay is the yachting harbour from which you can moor your vessel or charter a yacht for your own private exploration of the Cote d’Azur.

A Beaulieu-sur-Mer apartment is not really the place to go if you are looking for a raucous night out. However, there is plenty of entertainment to be found in the town. There are some excellent restaurants, as you would expect from a high class resort on the French Riviera, a couple of good bars and a large and incredibly stylish casino located on the beachfront. The best restaurants in Beaulieu-sur-Mer can be found around the port, especially the Africa Queen which has gained global acclaim.

There are some excellent walks to try, mainly located around the harbour. The best in the area is the walk from the harbour up to the Plateau St Michel from which you can see all along the Cap Ferrat and into some of the most elegant gardens in the area.
