Meze is also about 10 minutes away and has many interesting sights such as Le Chateau de Girard, La Chapelle des Penitents and the Dinosaur Plain palaeontology museum. The capital of the region is Montpellier, which is 30 minutes drive from Bouzigues and has many interesting attractions. These include the Place de la Comedie, the 14th century cathedral and the oldest botanical garden in France.
