The main reason most families come to Orlando is of course for Disney World and the many other theme parks, and Bridgewater Town Centre is ideally placed, less than a 15 minute drive from Disney World’s main gate and around 30 minutes from Universal Studios.
Golf enthusiasts will delight in the choice of greens available in the local area, but don’t need to venture far to find a world-class course. Less than a 10 minute drive down the road are two 18-hole championship courses which were both designed by none other than Greg Norman.
While dad is enjoying his round of golf, mum and the kids may be kept busy shopping at the Champions Gate shopping complex next-door, with a selection of boutiques and chain stores. There are also plenty of places in the complex to relax with a coffee and a book or enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Should guests fancy a day away from the rowdy theme parks, the year-round sunshine which Florida enjoys means guests will be able to put the private pools found in many of Bridgewater Town Centre’s villas to good use.

With such great weather on offer it would be a shame to come all the way to Florida and not hit the beach. Bridgewater Town Centre is less than an hour’s drive from Tampa and the Gulf Coast. The city itself has plenty to keep visitors entertained with museums, theatres, Lowry Park Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens Africa and Adventure Island. The area also has lots of beautiful beaches where visitors can relax on the sand or take part in the many water sports on offer.

Winters remain warm, with temperatures reaching up to 20C, and the winter months are also considerably drier. Visitors may most easily access their Bridgewater Town Centre villas through either Orlando International Airport (MCO) or Sanford (SFB). Orlando Airport receives flights from the UK and most other European countries on a daily basis and is around 30km northeast from Bridgewater Town Centre, although most of the cheaper charter airlines instead land at Sanford, which is around another 25km north.
