Cabris is filled with ancient treasures, from the 17th century Church de Notre Dame at the top of the hill to the remains of the imposing Chateau des Marquis de Clapiers-Cabris. Many hours can be spent happily relaxing in the terrace cafes or picnicking along the shaded green, Le Grand Pre. Artists and craftsmen line the streets of Cabris, as the scenery cannot fail to inspire.

There are many historic sites of note in the area immediately surrounding a Cabris villa. The perfume capital of world, Grasse, is just 6km from a Cabris villa. The city is awash with historical monuments famous art galleries, many of which can be explored on the self guided tours of Grasse. Grasse is known as the gateway to the mountains and forests of Provence, with a huge number of walking trails into the countryside originating from the outskirts of the city. If you would like to organise white water rafting, canyoning, paragliding or rock climbing expeditions into the Pays de Grasse, there are ample opportunities in the city.

Cabris is an excellent retreat all year round. During July and August, the beaches of the Cote d’Azur are highly alluring, as temperatures can routinely reach the mid 30’s (˚C) during the middle of the day. Spring and autumn are fantastic times to take walking holidays in Cabris, as the sting is taken out of the heat of the day, yet skies remain clear and temperatures blissfully warm.
