This is a beautiful area; the bay and town is surrounded by mountains which are perfect for enjoying walks. The most famous of Cadaques’s residents was Salvador Dali though many other artists have called this pretty town home at some point over the years, including Pablo Picasso. Dali’s home is now a museum and is situated just outside the town in Port Lligat, though still within walking distance. The museum/house is one of the town’s most popular attractions.
Being quite remote, self catering holiday rental in Cadaques is not near to too many other attractions. There are more towns along the coast that can be reached by driving across the mountains. Towns such as Roses to the south, or travel north and you will be in France in no time.

Summers are hot and relatively dry with average high temperatures peaking at around 27 or 28°C (81/82°F) in July and August. Autumn is warm and comfortable, though October is usually the wettest month of the year. Winters remain mild with an average high of about 12°C (54°F) in January.
