Candidasa (Candi Dasa) is a calm place near the sea in the east of Bali. Some years ago there was a beautiful beach but do the local building and construction works this is partly destroyed.

Candidasa is not just ten minutes away from the airport, Denpasar or the tourist hotspots like Sanur and Kuta. But offering unspoilt landscapes and culture where you can find your own tropical paradise and indulge in the real Balinese charm that still remains unchanged here despite the growth of tourism and what’s best of all there is no need to sacrifice luxury accommodation to experience this.

Many small local shops selling tourist gifts and handicrafts. Prices are remarkably lower comparing with the tourist centre in the south. Good food served in many restaurants, local, international and if you are lucky a Balinese dance besides your table.
