Maubisson is filled with excellent restaurants, atmospheric cafes and top water sports centres, where you can learn to windsurf, sail or row. Swimming is very popular in the lake, especially when the summer heat starts to grow.

The best surfing beaches in the whole of France are just ten minutes away too, located on the shores of the Bay of Biscay. The coast is struck by rollers travelling uninterrupted across the Atlantic, and surfing is a big part of life for many in the area.
