Ca's Concos, or Cas Concos des Cavaller as it is also known, is in the southeast of Majorca. This tiny hamlet has less than 500 inhabitants and its origins go back to the arrival of the Obrador Conco family in the 16th century. It offers a quiet and peaceful holiday base, within easy reach of the beaches and attractions on the island. The church was built in the early 20th century in the style of an old basilica. The village also has a few shops, bars and restaurants in the charming village centre.

Beaches
Just 10-15 minutes drive from your villa in Ca's Concos is the beautiful beach of Cala Mongrago on the edge of a scenic nature reserve. The island has plenty of gorgeous sandy beaches, some with modern amenities and watersports, others that are quiet and unspoilt so choose one to suit your requirements.
Walking and Hiking
Majorca is becoming increasingly popular with walkers and hikers, particularly along the trails of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains which, although difficult, are well worth the effort for the fantastic views. Cycling is a great way to see the towns around Majorca and most places have bikes for hire. Mountain biking can also be enjoyed in the wilder mountain terrain.
Golf
The nearest golf course to your Ca's Concos holiday villa is at the Club de Golf Vall d'Or at Felanitx, about 7km away. Majorca has many excellent golf courses with wonderful scenery and it enjoys the ideal climate for playing in.

Palma
The nearby city of Palma has many attractions in the old city centre. The 19th century Plaça Major or main square is traffic free and surrounded by cafés, gift shops and restaurants. There is often a handicraft market and a bandstand where live music can be enjoyed. The busy harbour is overlooked by the grand La Seu Cathedral and the Parc de la Mar has beautiful flowers, fountains and modern artworks.
Santanyi
Santanyi is a popular day trip with its markets on Wednesday and Saturday. Pick up fresh local produce or browse for gifts and souvenirs on the local handicraft stalls.
Cala d'Or
Cala d'Or is a pleasant resort close to Ca's Concos and has a golf course, tennis courts and a marina where boats can be hired and snorkeling and fishing trips can be taken. It is a larger town with good supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
