A wider choice of shops can be found at the provincial capital Arezzo, which is about 40 minutes away.

Pisa is about 150 kilometres away via the A1 and A11 and is a fantastic city to visit, featuring the world famous Leaning Tower. Florence is another wonderful city and can also be reached via the A1 road and is approximately a one hour and twenty minute journey from Castel San Niccolo.
