Catania is among Italy’s hottest places. During the summer months, temperatures of 40?C are not uncommon, and although this makes beach holiday in the area remarkably enjoyable, if you would like to explore from a Catania villa, late spring or early autumn are top times to visit, still being hot, but not unbearably so. Even in the grips of winter, you are very unlikely to experience temperatures under 15?C from Catania accommodation.
