In the spring, the melt waters rage down the rivers, making perfect conditions for white-water rafting weekends in Chamonix.

Weather in Chamonix, France

From July to September, the weather is sunny and cool with temperatures hovering around 15?C, which is perfect for some of the strenuous walking, climbing and biking in Chamonix. The winters are of course cold, but not as bitter as some of the North American ski resorts, with average temperatures in January around -2?C.
