Chimenea for outstanding Beach and Mountain views

The coastline just to the East of Nerja is a sucession of rocky outlets surrounding sandy beaches. One of the first of these fingers which stretches into the sea on the East side of the Burriana Beach is Chimenea.

A scattering of upmarket luxury villas and two floor apartment buildings built among private gardens provides holiday accomodation for those who want exceptional peaceful views while being only a short walk to the beach or 5 minutes in the car to the old town of Nerja.

Here there are no shops or resturants in the immediate vicinity so unless you are a good walker you will have to get the car out for a 5 minutes drive for you evening meal. Restaurants within a 5 minute drive include the new built Los Arcos resturant open throughout the year with candlelit dinners under the stars in the summer; The Capistano Oasis resturant down by the pool which frequently provides live entertainment and of course the whole range of resutants along the one kilometre promenade of the Burriana beach.

If your house faces south towards the sea then you may look out of your back windows north to wards the peaks of the Sierra del Almijarra. This is fine bold walking country with all manner of eagles and other birds to spot. An entrance road to this country passes the Caves of Nerja - an underground magic land well worth a visit which comes to life when visited by an orchestra or ballet company.

The little Nerja golf course has closed but golfers will find a choice of courses along the coast both to the East and to the West. Tennis players have only to cross the main coast road to the floodlit Nerja Tennis Club.

With a peaceful location but with a wide range of activites near at hand there is something for everybody at 50 minutes from Malaga international airport.
