Chiva inland Valencia - Chiva and area

Chiva is situated just off the A3 Valencia/Madrid motorway in Spain. A typical Spanish town in the heart of the agricultural area of Valencia. Chiva features all the amenities including golf, horse riding and the world famous racing track at Cheste ten minutes away. The local fiestas include the Fallas in March, the Tomatina in Bunol in August, and the local bull running at the end of August. The historical Castle of Chiva over looks the town which has lovely cafes and bars. One features the local hero Enrique Ponce the bull fighter and shows off his costumes and photos throughout the cafe.

Chiva's streets are narrow and picturesque. The local surrounding area grows vines and fruit trees and the produce can be purchased at the local vinery or in the local shops. The rail links are very good into Valencia and the other local towns. So easy to park and ride making Valencia easy to reach. Chiva’s open air market is a delight every Friday morning. It is always full of local produce, and full of colourful displays.
