Despite its name, Clube Golfemar is not primarily a golf resort. However, there is a great little 9 hole course just a few minutes walk from a Clube Golfemar villa. Open to any player with a handicap certificate, the golf course offers a surprising number of taxing holes, despite only being a par 3 course. If you have access to a car, there are a huge number of golfing opportunities though. There are two wonderful 18 hole courses just a few minutes drive from a Clube Golfemar apartment, and another 20 along this stretch of coast.

The beauty of taking a self catering Clube Golfemar property is that although you are based in the Algarve countryside, there are a huge number of activities available in just a few minutes on foot. There are tennis courts, a gym, supermarket, supermarkets, restaurants and even a beauty salon. The beaches of the Carvoeiro region are spectacular, backed by different coloured cliffs and consisting of fine, golden sand.
