Lisbon is under half an hour from an apartment in Colares. It is filled with lively bars and clubs and exquisite shopping, as well as a wealth of museums coving all aspects of life, both modern and ancient in the Lisbon area.

Cascais is a young suburb of Lisbon, which has developed from a quaint fishing village, and retained much of its charm, especially in the centre.
