The most impressive site in Daglan however is the imposing 16th century Chateau de Peyruzel, which is well worth investigation from any Daglan accommodation.

The River Ceou and the River Dordogne into which it flows offer a great deal of entertainment to those staying in a Daglan property. The banks of these rivers are awash with wildlife, which makes them the perfect place to enjoy long walks, bike rides and even horse riding. However, for the more gentle life, there are some wonderful stretches for canoeing, and the fishing is exceptional. Fishing permits are easily obtained from any local tabac for just a few Euros.

A holiday rental in Daglan is just 20km from the famous town of Sarlat. Sarlat is a wonderful town of medieval origin, famous throughout Aquitaine as being one of the best preserved medieval towns. There are many magnificent sites to see throughout the streets of Sarlat, and if you are looking to play golf, do some serious shopping or have a great round of golf, the short trip to Sarlat from your Daglan accommodation is well worth it.
