Lake Annecy itself provides a huge amount of entertainment for anyone staying in a Doussard gite during the summer months. Simply enjoying a long leisurely lunch beside the Lake is enough for many, but activity is never far away should you wish it. The lake waters are beautifully clear, if a little cold at the start of the summer, and swimming is hugely popular. Geneva Airport, which receives direct flights from airports across the UK, is just an hour from a Doussard villa. The drive is a beautiful one, and having your own car or hire car is strongly recommended whilst staying in a Doussard gite, just to ensure you can get the very most from the whole area.
