The regional park of Las Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar (San Pedro Nature Reserve) is the most important wetlands park in the Murcia. Hundreds of bird species can be spotted in the park, especially the huge flocks of dazzling flamingos which rest up during their migration.
